How to Plan your perfect Brisbane holiday

Brisbane Holiday

Are you considering a Brisbane holiday? If you are, you’re certainly in for a great time, what with so much that our city has to offer. Great natural beauty, pristine beaches, indigenous wildlife and plenty of day trip locations are only some of the things you can look forward to.

However, any holiday can turn into disaster if things are not planned out properly. Brisbane has so much to offer to tourists, that things can get overwhelming for first timers. As such, you’ll need to start planning now – before you land in our city.

Being a local accommodation provider, I’d love to help you plan for the perfect Brisbane holiday. Continue reading this post to discover some handy tips that’ll help you in planning your holiday. By following these tips, you’ll ensure to have an enjoyable and much more memorable holiday. And of course, you can thank me by choosing your apartment accommodation in Brisbane with us at Bridgewater Terraces.

1. Plan before you travel

To enjoy the perfect Brisbane holiday, many of our guests here at the Bridgewater Terraces do some planning before travelling. I urge you to do the same – after all, you don’t want to deal with any problems after you land. By properly planning things out, you will be more relaxed and will have a more memorable holiday.

Make sure to plan at least a month in advance before you travel and keep at least a week for your holiday. Involve everybody travelling with you in the planning and decide on your budget and transportation. You’ll also want to book apartment accommodation in Brisbane before you land in the city.

Also, decide on the destinations in Brisbane that you want to visit. Destinations can be broadly classified into two groups – within the city and outside the city. If you’re planning on taking trips outside Brisbane city, make sure to add extra days to your itinerary.

To find out more about which Brisbane destinations to visit, read my previous blog post on How long should you spend in Brisbane. This post will also help you decide on your holiday duration.

You’ll also need to choose your travel gear and pack for your Brisbane holiday. Depending on your season of travel, you pack your clothing accordingly. Keep essentials such as a first aid kit, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellents to enjoy a hassle-free experience when outdoors.

2. Find great bargains

Many of our guests at Bridgewater Terraces look for bargains on their holiday and you should do the same. Of course, this starts with finding affordable apartment accommodation in Brisbane. Thankfully, with us around, you don’t need to hunt around too much. Our holiday apartments start as low as $140 per night, which is far cheaper than other accommodation in Brisbane. By booking your accommodation with us, you will save money while enjoying a truly comfortable stay.

I also advise you to refrain from holiday package deals that some flights and accommodation providers offer. While some of these deals are genuine, most are not. You don’t want to settle for a bogus package just because you want to save a few dollars.

Conclusion:

To enjoy a pleasant holiday in Brisbane, you must plan your holiday even before you start travelling. Decide on a budget, consider all destinations you want to visit and pack your travel gear accordingly. You should also look for great bargains in Brisbane and this starts with affordable accommodation. Thankfully, Bridgewater Terraces, have you covered.
