Queensland Museum

Our wonderful city, Brisbane presents a lot of activities and attractions. Unfortunately, I couldn’t possibly sum up everything it has to offer in just one or two paragraphs. Instead, I’ll focus on the best activities that Urge you try on your Brisbane holiday.

For nature lovers, I recommend that you visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Lamington National Park. You’ll get to experience Australia’s indigenous wildlife at these sanctuaries and parks.

Also take a tour of South Bank, Roma Street Parklands, Queensland Museum and the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. These relaxing tours are a great way to experience the culture and sights of Brisbane City.

If you’re fond of outdoor activities, then you should go on the Brisbane River Cruise. You can also partake in some adventure sports offered by Riverlife Adventure Centre. The Story Bridge climb is another great activity that adventure enthusiasts are sure to enjoy.

Lastly, if you enjoy a day-trip, consider at Moreton Bay and Mt. Coot-Tha. Each are incredibly popular with our guests here at Bridgewater Terraces.

2. Where to eat

Now the important part: food. Brisbane boasts some amazing eateries and bars where you can fill up in between visiting tourist hotspots. Whatever type of food you’re looking for, you’ll have no problems finding it in Brisbane.

Some of my personal favourite fine dining options in Brisbane include Bacchus, Enoteca, Black Hide Steakhouse and 1889 Enoteca.

If you’re looking for cheap eats in our city, then you should visit Café O-Mai, Miel Container, The Vietnamese and Guilty Rogue Public House. Other great eateries for you to try out include the Great Café & Restaurant, Pane E Vino, C’est Bon, Ortiga and Chidos Mexican Grill.

If you’d like to drop by a bar or pub, then Brisbane won’t disappoint. I often head over to Fitz + Potts, Hop & Pickle, Embassy Craft Beer Bar or Alen’s Espresso with friends to have a good time. These bars and pubs will certainly make your day in Brisbane.
