By boarding a vintage carriage, you will relive the glory of bygone eras as you pass through Brisbane’s stations and river crossings. And of course, your kids will love you for it!
Steam Train Sunday will be held on Sunday, November 6 from 10:45am onwards at the Roma Street Station. Tickets will cost you $15. This event is free for children under the age of 3.

Even if you don’t follow Australia’s A-League, Brisbane Roar is a fine team which has lots of local support. By watching them in a home game, you’ll be a part of all the excitement and thrill that fans bring along.
This event is suitable for everyone. So, whether you’re holidaying with friends or family, everyone can have a great time watching this soccer game. Games will be held at the Suncorp Stadium Friday, November 4 from 6:50pm to 11pm.
Suncorp Stadium is located a short drive from Bridgewater Terraces and our 3 bedroom accommodation is perfect for families or groups of mates coming in to see the game.
3. Graceville Family Markets
A family holiday in Brisbane cannot be complete without visiting one of the local markets. If you’re in the city this November, you’re in luck as the Graceville Family Markets are on. This fabulous community market features a plethora of attractions. From delicious street food, great coffee, organic food products, live entertainment and rides for kids, this market offers it all.
While your kids will enjoy the rides and local entertainment, adults will appreciate all the great products on offer.
