1. Queensland Cabaret Festival

This June, Australian as well as international dancers will set the stage alight at the Queensland Cabaret Festival. You’ll get to witness fine storytelling and beautiful performances, with a mix of song, music, dance and entertainment. Certainly, an event not to be missed!

The Queensland Cabaret Festival is happening from Thursday, June 1 to Thursday, June 15 from 7:15pm-8:45pm at the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm.

2. 2017 Kokoda Challenge Brisbane

Gear up for a spectacular sporting event this June with the 2017 Kokoda Challenge. This running event includes three courses – a 15km run, a 30km run and a 48km run. All courses will be held at the scenic D’Aguilar National Forest, with natural descents and steep climbs. By participating in this event, you’ll instil the values of courage, mateship, sacrifice and endurance in yourself.

The 2017 Kokoda Challenge Brisbane is on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday June 4 from 7:00am-7:00pm at the Brookefield Showgrounds in Brookefield. This event is mostly suitable for adults. You can find information about ticket prices at the official Kokoda Challenge website.

3. Treasury Brisbane Ladies’ Oaks Day

The Treasury Brisbane Ladies’ Oaks Day is a fine racing event to hit our city this June. This event will feature timeless shoes and fancy suits and the racing track will heat up with black type racing. This day is a celebration of grace and elegance and the elite will be a part of it. Make sure not to miss out on it!

Treasury Brisbane Ladies’ Oaks Day is taking place on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Brisbane Racing Club Eagle Farm Racecourse is Ascot. Ticket prices range from $25-$6,400 and can be purchased at the official Brisbane Racing Club website.

4. 2017 Brisbane Times City2South

City2South 2017

City2South is considered to be the most picturesque fun run to be held in Brisbane. This June, thousands of people including joggers, walkers and elite runners will be participating in this event. There’s a 5km run and a 14km run which you can choose to take part in. 

The 2017 Brisbane Times City2South is taking place on Sunday, June 4 from 7:00am-1:00pm at William Street. You can find information about ticket prices at the official City2South website.

5. Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow

The 49th edition of the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow promises to be a blockbuster event. There’ll be more than 250 exhibitors at this event, showcasing motorhomes, caravan trailers, camper homes, tent trailers and much more. Every visitor also stands the chance to win one of two prize caravans, so make sure to attend this event!

The Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow is taking place from Wednesday, June 7 to Monday, June 12 from 9:30am-6:30pm at the Brisbane Showgrounds in Bowen Hills. Ticketing information can be found on the official Queensland Caravan website.
