As Brisbane local, I must say that I’m pretty excited and looking forward to what March has to offer. So today, I’ll list the top 5 events happen in Brisbane this March.

1. The Australian Ballet – The Sleeping Beauty

If you’re fond of live musicals and dance performances, then you must add this event to your list of things to do in Brisbane this March. This spectacular production will retell the epic fairy tale, full with lavish sets and grand costumes. This performance has been critically acclaimed, so don’t miss out on it!

The Australian Ballet is performing The Sleeping Beauty from Wednesday, March 1 – Saturday, March 4. There are two shows daily, at 1:30pm and at 7:30pm and tickets cost between $39.00-$145.00.

2. Adele Live

Adele Live

Adele is no stranger in the world of pop music. I’m a big fan of hers and I’m thrilled that she’ll be performing in Brisbane this March. This live show must feature on your list of things to do in Brisbane. Adele is certainly the hottest touring act of the year and no doubt, you’ve already got your tickets!

Adele is performing live at the Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground) on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5 from 7:30pm onwards. Tickets for this great show are priced between $105.95-$309.85, but are unfortunately already sold out.

If you’re heading to Brisbane for this epic musical event, then Bridgewater Terraces is the perfect place to stay. We’re approximately 2km or a 25 min walk away from the Gabba, making that dreaded task of getting home a piece of cake.

3. RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run

RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run is certainly an event worth attending in Brisbane this March. This charitable race aims to raise funds for breast cancer awareness, a very noble cause indeed.

The run takes place across a picturesque loop around South Bank and Brisbane CBD, which is a great way to see all of Brisbane on foot. I recommend you add this event to your itinerary of things to do in Brisbane this March.

RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run is held on Sunday, March 5 at South Bank from 6:30pm. South Bank is approximately 3km, or a 30-minute walk away from our holiday apartments at Bridgewater Terraces. So, stay with us and you’ll have no trouble attending this event.

4. Justin Bieber – Purpose World Tour

If you’re kids are anything like mine, then I’m sure they absolutely love Justin Bieber. This pop star will be heading to Brisbane as part of his Purpose World Tour this March.

So, treat your kids (of yourself) to a night of great entertainment as Justin takes the stage in Brisbane. If you can get tickets, make sure to add this concert to your list of things to do in Brisbane this March.

Justin Bieber is performing at the Suncorp Stadium on Monday, March 13 from 7:00pm onwards. Tickets for the show are from $105.75.

5. Raw Comedy

I’m a big fan of stand-ups and open mic comedies. As such, I have added Raw Comedy 2017 to my list of things to do in Brisbane this March and you should do the same. This event is Australia’s largest open mic comedy competition, where the best talent of our nation will perform. So, gear up for a night full of fun and laughter this March, thanks to this great event.

Raw Comedy 2017 is held at the Sit Down Comedy Club on Sunday, March 19 from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Tickets for this event are priced $31.00.
