Continue reading this article as I list 5 of the best Brisbane events to be held this August.

1. Lest We Forget presented by Queensland Ballet

A dance performance to be presented by the Queensland Ballet from 29th July to 6th August, Lest We Forget is a poignant reflection on the theme of war. Orchestrated by three of the best working choreographers today – Ma Cong, Natalie Weir and Paul Taylor, this dance performance will invoke feelings of commitment, passion, love and human relationships. Inspired by songs about the World Wars, this performance will focus on bittersweet contradictions. If you’re interested in arts, you mustn’t miss out on this performance. An event suitable for people of all ages, this dance performance will be held at the Playhouse, QPAC. Tickets for the event are priced from $55 up to $100. If you are planning to be in town to see a performance, I recommend our holiday apartments at Bridgewater Terraces for your Brisbane accommodation.
